Walk the Land: Winter Tracking Walk at Vlei Marsh

Join Flying Deer Nature Center instructor and experienced tracker Julie Kunz for an immersive animal tracking walk at the rich ecosystem of Vlei Marsh Preserve in Rhinebeck. We’ll learn how to read tracks by their shape, size and patterns, and interpret other telling signs of wildlife habitat and behavior. You’ll be able to apply these new skills wherever you go, deepening your understanding of nature and the interplay of her fascinating cast of characters.

This event is part of the seasonal WALK THE LAND series – a collaboration between Winnakee Land Trust and Dirty Gaia of expert-guided tours, offering insight into our local ecosystem from a variety of perspectives and experiences.
