Saffron Workshop at Green Owl Farm

Saffron-grower Suzanne Kelly will host a harvesting workshop at Green Owl Farm in Rhinebeck. After a talk about the history, growing and curing of  the world’s most expensive spice, we’ll join her in the harvest of this fall’s crop of saffron crocuses. We’ll collect the beautifully scented amethyst flowers and remove the saffron threads by hand. Refreshments will be served.

Registration is required for this event, which will be held in person at Green Owl Farm on Saturday, October 15 2022, 9:00-10:30.
